Coaching new teachers among prisoners: Scenario


The scenario does not want to be complete in order to realize 'the ideal start' for 'the starting teacher with prisoners'. After all, every prison is very specific and requires its own approach, just like every teacher. The scenario would rather offer a number of possibilities that the experienced teacher in prison can use to coach new colleagues. You can use the script freely and knead to your own size

When working out, take into account what is feasible in that specific prison and what can be incorporated into the assignment of the coach or the experienced teacher and the new employee. The appointment and supervision of some CVOs and CBEs is very informal and without planned follow-up. Others consciously use the existing expertise of experienced teachers to strengthen and support the new teachers, which contributes to better quality and more professional satisfaction, both for experienced and new teachers.
