Central keys: Debate

This is a debate. A debate about the central keys. Because in the school year 2023 - 2024 they are there for real. Then there will be central tests in both the second secondary and the fourth year of primary education. Later, in 2025-2026, the sixth secondary school will also follow. Next year, a preliminary examination will start in both the fourth grade and the second year of secondary education and the tests will be tested.
But there are still many questions. Uncertainties about the how and why of the tests. That's why a panel of experts has come together in this podcast to discuss those questions.

Carolien Frijns is strategic coordinator of the Center for Central Assessments in Education and is a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University. This support center is an independent university body charged with the task of developing the tests. The support center is composed of researchers from five Flemish universities and two colleges.
Kris Denys is policy officer OKO, the Consultation for Small Educational Providers.
Jeroen Backs is head of Strategic Policy Support of the Department of Education and Training. He represents the policy side of the entire dossier.
Maarten Penninckx is Pedagogical Advisor Quality Development at Catholic Education Flanders.
Heleen Bourdeaud'hui is an Education Effectiveness, Data Literacy and Central Testing Assistant at the GO.

But your voice also resonates in this debate. In the past, all respondents of Teacher Tapp were asked various questions about the central tests. The results, given by more than 100 teachers, principals, care teachers or other education professionals, are the start of this debate.
