EquiSchools: Manual

EquiSchools manual: working together with young people towards a (gender) equal and violence-free society is a manual aimed at education and reflection with which you as a professional can work autonomously to put together a trajectory for the promotion of (gender) equality and prevention of (gender-based) violence.

The manual has been developed for professionals working with young people in an urban context and offers support around eight central themes:

• gender,
• network & care,
• emotions,
• identity & discrimination,
• relationships,
• sexuality,
• Sexual violence
• violence.

For each theme, you will find some background information on the one hand and, on the other hand, some fully developed workshops to get started with young people. The structure has been carefully chosen and the strength of the program lies above all in the duration and intensity of the process. You always conclude a process by creating an awareness campaign. In addition, the toolkit contains numerous reading and viewing tips, info sheets, useful links and handy guidelines that help you deal with challenging situations.
