Delegated nursing tasks: 360° tour
A student is doing an internship at a home care service. During the second week of internship, the internship mentor, who is also a nurse, delegates the care tasks of four (fictitious) care recipients.
An introductory assignment is provided beforehand to determine whether the student has knowledge of the delegated nursing tasks.
The other assignments are integrated into a case, constructed using a 360° image, with the following topics:
- administer oral medications;
- apply compression stockings;
- the manual removal of fecalomas;
- administer fractionated heparin.
Differentiated feedback is integrated with each exercise.
