Learning material on refugee integration in classroom activities: Lessons for 6 to 9 year olds
This bundle is part of the curriculum on refugees, asylum and migration from UNHCR, the United Nations refugee agency.
This bundle is suitable for 6 to 9 year olds and allows children in the lower grades of primary education to become acquainted with refugees and migrants.
More complex subject matter that, for example, explains the Refugee Convention, or the difference between refugees, migrants, internally displaced persons and other people fleeing, is deliberately avoided.
This specific teaching package contains a few ideas for working on the subject of refugees, asylum and migration in the general subject matter (for example during math lessons, language lessons).
