LE model: Ownership (sheet 1 of 5)

The importance of ownership within the learning process has its origins in social constructivism that makes it clear that building up competences oneself and taking responsibility for regulating one's own learning process is crucial for the quality of learning. Ownership increases the student's autonomous motivation. However, the influence of the teacher on the learning process remains fundamental. He / she must stimulate, support and initiate the learning process. The dynamics between student and teacher is therefore very important.

This didactic help sheet contains suggestions for classroom practice.
