Digging for the past: Book trolley
The books in the book trolley introduce students to the different aspects of history and heritage. The books deal with a visit to the museum, the collection of old objects and archeology. The stories of grandmother and grandfather and family trees are also discussed. A number of books respond to the children's sense of time.
The books deal with our history: evolution, knights and castles, time travel, the Egyptians and prehistoric times. Picture books, reading books as well as simple reading books are part of the package.
Target group: Kindergarten classes and 1st grade of primary education.
What: a book package that you can borrow for free from the local library
Content: about twenty books on history, heritage, the past and a brochure 'heritage excursions with the class in the Pajottenland & Zennevallei region'.
