The Heritage Rescue Team: Educational Heritage Case

Kusterfgoed developed an educational heritage package that teaches students the heritage of the coast.

The suitcase is full of heritage puzzles and takes the students alongside a fascinating story about fishermen and their superstition and offshore as a resort. In a creative and interactive way, the children learn to understand the concept of heritage and keep calm with the moving and intangible heritage that is typical of our coast.

For example, in the suitcase you will find a memorandum game where the students connect images of the past with contemporary scenes. The students also dress a fisherman and find out what a Southwest, an oil coat or a red fishing shelf is. And fisherman Louis Verplancke, also known as his whitening name Jef Witten, tells the children an exciting story about the Roesschaert, a terrible sea creature. At the end of the course Kroont Kusterfgoed will each pupil become a member of the Heritage Rescue Team.
