Workshop: Painting in the style of ...
During a Workshop Painting in the style of ... we choose a well-known (or less well-known) painter as a source of inspiration for this painting workshop.
We start with a brief introduction of the chosen painter. Then
we observe some of his/her well-known works. Under the guidance of
our visual arts teacher, we reflect on what we see and what it does
to us. Then it is of course up to the participants themselves to
follow in the footsteps of this famous artist!
The materials and techniques we will be working with are explained
and then it is time to experiment and create. Finally, every
participant goes home with a painting of which he/she is proud!
The content is adapted to the age of the participants.
This workshop is a fantastic combination with a museum visit or a
history lesson.
