Who doesn't like dreaming away at a clear starry sky? Celestial bodies such as planets, moons and stars are often countless light years away from us. Despite this far distance, scientists are increasingly succeeding in unraveling some of the mysteries of the universe. For example, the Hubble space telescope discovered the oldest light in the universe, and we now know that water flows on Mars. Who knows, we might even find aliens soon... Occasionally, for example at a transit of Venus, we catch a glimpse of the wondrous beauty of space. But don't cheer too soon: the universe is far from revealing all its secrets...
