Volta: Crossroads of electrical engineering

Volta is fully committed to collaboration with education. An important part of that collaboration consists of educational resources. Volta focuses on children, young people and adults.
The aim is to get as many people as possible interested in electrical engineering training. Anyone who studies electricity also has many opportunities on the labor market.

To strengthen its educational activities, Volta focuses on three specific target groups.

For 10 to 14 year olds there is the Elektroclub , a website with information tailored to their needs. They can get ideas about study options and professions. And of course there is also room for games and experiments: the young people learn some electrical core concepts through play. Anyone who becomes a member will receive the Vonk booklet delivered free to their home and can read the monthly electronic newsletter.

For teachers who teach this target group, there is De Elektroclub for teachers: a portal site for teachers and supervisors. This site is aimed at teachers (primary education), teachers in the first grade of secondary education, and teachers of electrical engineering and adult education. Electroclub for teachers is chock full of information, tips, promotional and educational material ... to make the (technology) lesson fascinating and educational.

Young people and adults can in turn visit the Watt's Up website? Here too, facts and information tailored to your needs. It even includes a handy school finder: so you can quickly find a good electrical training course near you. Very useful for parents: they can help their child make the right study choice. The site also includes a Facebook page and the magazine Watt's Up.
