Kritikat: Debunking fallacies and philosophizing about fake news

Where does my opinion come from? When is something true? Do we think with our feelings or our minds? Who determines what is truth?

Kritikat wants to stimulate critical thinking about media messages among children in the third grade of primary education. Through stimulating thinking stories with questions and exercises, children learn, together with the Kritikat, to recognize the most common fallacies and to unmask news reports that make fun of the facts. The philosophical stories offer examples of thinking errors that alert children to manipulation and prepare them to examine media messages in a second phase with the same critical glasses.
