The Time Traveler: Learning contents history in books, games, board games, films...

The Time Traveler wants to grab students and drag them into the past. Students should experience the tension and complexity that comes with a mammoth hunt. They have to taste the sand in their mouths when they stand in front of the pyramids of Giza. They must feel the Greek sun burning on their skin as they walk through the market place in Athens and muse on the origin of democracy. They must see the dismay and despair in the eyes of a dying gladiator when the emperor's thumb goes down. The Time Traveler tries to make all this and much more possible.

Certain elements from the pupils' world, such as video games, board games, series, films, youth novels, etc., are linked to the learning contents by De Tijdreizen.

On the YouTube channel , all film fragments are neatly grouped by time slot.
