Verpleegkunde: jouw lesmateriaal
200 jaar geleden, op 12 mei 1820, werd Florence Nightingale geboren. De verpleegkundige zorg zoals we die vandaag kennen, is tot haar terug te voeren. De gelegenheid bij uitstek voor de Algemene Unie van Verpleegkundigen van België (AUVB) om aandacht te schenken aan de belangrijke rol van dit beroep in onze maatschappij. De verpleegkundigen zijn namelijk essentieel voor de volksgezondheid.
Verpleging en zorg op school
Die verpleegkundigen en zorgverleners van morgen worden gevormd op de schoolbanken. Of het nu gaat om het volgen van een medisch gerelateerde studierichting of het thema onder de aandacht te brengen als lesonderwerp. Dagen als Internationale dag van de Verpleegkunde of de Week van de Zorg zijn mooie aangelegenheden om de (verpleegkundige) zorg in de kijker te zetten.
