Elke 2e zondag in december wordt WereldLichtjesDag, dag van het overleden kind, gehouden. Misschien heeft iemand in je klas iemand dierbaar verloren. Wie weet helpt deze speciale dag om rouwen een plaats te geven op school.
Overleden kinderen herdenken
Op deze dag steken mensen om 19.00 uur over de hele wereld kaarsjes aan ter nagedachtenis aan overleden kinderen. Het maakt daarbij niet uit hoe oud het kind was of hoe lang het al geleden is. De wereld wordt zo even letterlijk wat lichter voor mensen die een kind verloren hebben en daarnaast is er het besef dat je niet alleen bent met je verdriet.
